Setting up the Server
- Log in to the Game Panel, then choose a server.
- Navigate to the “Versions” tab.
- Choose a server software. If you don’t know which to pick, read our server software guide.
- Choose a Minecraft version, then click on “Install”.
Setting a Java Version
- Navigate to the “Startup” tab.

Under “Java Version”, set a valid Java version. You may refer to the list below:
- Use
8
if your server version is 1.12 or below. - Use
11
if your server version is between 1.13 and 1.16. - Use
16
if your server version is 1.17. - Use
17
if your server version is 1.18.

Joining Your Server
- Navigate to the “Console” tab.
- Click on the server address; it should automatically be copied to your clipboard.
- Launch your Minecraft client.
- Click on “Multiplayer”.
- Click on “Add Server”.
- Enter any server name in the “Server Name” field.
- Paste in the server address you copied into the “Server Address” field.
- Click on “Done”.

Setting Up The Server
- Go to the Game Panel.
- Select your server.
- Click on the start button, which is located at the upper left corner of the Console tab.
- You will be greeted with a message asking you to choose a server type. In this example, Minecraft Pocket/Bedrock. Type in the number beside the option you want. For example, enter

to select option 2. - You will be asked to choose a Server Software, if you don’t know which to pick, read our Server Software guide.
- You will be prompted to choose a Minecraft version. For example,
1.18.1
.
Additional Step
You will be asked to choose a PHP version if you are installing Pocketmine-MP (PMMP).
- For PocketMine-MP 3.23.1 or older, type
2
. - For PocketMine-MP 3.24.0 or later, type
3
.
Note: It usually takes a while for the server to boot the first time it’s setup.
Connecting To Your Server
- Go to the Game Panel.
- Select your server.
- Click on the server address under the server status. It should automatically be copied to your clipboard.
- Launch your Minecraft client.
- Click on “Play”.
- Click on “Servers”.
- Click on “Add Server”.
- Enter in any server name in the “Server Name” field.
- Paste in the server ip and port you copied into the “Server Address” and “Port” fields.
- Click on “Done”.
